About LifeSwitch Driving Academy of Peachtree City, LLC

LifeSwitch Driving Academy of Peachtree City is owned and operated by Mike LaTella. Mike is an addiction counselor in Peachtree City and founded LifeSwitch Addiction Counseling Services in 2018. With a sobriety date of May 21st, 2010 from alcoholism, Mike has dedicated his life to helping others find purposeful lives with peace and happiness through sobriety and following God’s direction. 

Mike earned his undergraduate degree at Georgia State University and his Masters of Science in Addiction Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.  He holds a certification as a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), the highest level achievable in the field of addiction counseling.  Mike is also a Georgia Certified Clinical Evaluator, a requirement necessary to conduct and complete assessments for DUI offenders and other court-determined offenses.   He is licensed as A DUI School owner and director and is certified as a DUI/Risk Reduction Instructor and credentialed to teach the Prime For Life 420 Marijuana Abuse Course.   

Mike is listed as a Preferred Counseling Partner of North Point Ministries and he currently volunteers his time at Healing Bridge in Peachtree City helping those that cannot afford appropriate treatment.

LifeSwitch Driving Academy represents an extension of his commitment to help others overcome their challenges with alcohol and substances while finding  happiness and a way to live life to their full potential. He  has been a resident of Peachtree City for over forty years and is married to Pam. They have three sons: Michael 31, Thomas, 26 and Lamar 21.
